Last year I joined the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) on a technical assistance training trip to Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan (see below for links).
I presented two hands-on workshops under the umbrella title, "Turn Your Business Stories into Action Stories." Part 1 was "7 Steps to Tell Your Business Story in 30 Seconds or Less" and Part 2 was "8 Steps to Develop a Perfect Funding Pitch Presentation." Below is a picture of the cover page of the workbook each participant received. It was translated into Russian as you can see. Read more about the presentations and how I came to work with CRDF and Natalia here.
After the last trip Natalia (CRDF Program Officer) asked if I would be interested in doing other programs next year. Absolutely!
Fast forward from June 2008 to March 2, 2009. I am off to Ukraine today to give the same presentations along with a lot of hands-on assistance to the finalists. The finalists made it through a rigorous business plan submission exercise. Now it is the CRDF team's job to help prepare them for the presentation competition later in the month.
I'll write some more blog entries over the next few days and coming weeks.

Ira,
As a native Russian speaker, I respectfully disagree with the translation. Yes, the translation is technically correct. It does little to convey your message, however: the translated material fails to account for cultural differences.
